Diammonium phosphate NP 18:46
Description
- Diammonium phosphate (diammophos, DAF, DAP) is a highly concentrated phosphorus fertilizer.
- It is optimal to provide complete phosphorus nutrition for the entire period of growth and development of any agricultural crop, as well as an initial dose of nitrogen and a small amount of sulfur.
- It can be used in fall plowing, spring planting and pre-sowing cultivation.
- When dissolved in the soil, it temporarily alkalizes the pH of the soil solution around the fertilizer pellet, facilitating better uptake of phosphorus from the fertilizer in acidic soils.
- Sulfur in the fertilizer also helps plants absorb nitrogen and phosphorus better.
